Paparazzi to the Paparazzi
In his duties as official photographer to WWDC, James Duncan Davidson kindly allowed himself to be made subject of a photograph. Well, one photograph he allowed, the other was covertly taken while he was busy executing his work ;)

WWDC Bash
On Thursday 14th, the WWDC Bash was held in the Yerba Buena Gardens. Good food, good drink and good music from Ozomatli – overall a good time.

Baseball at AT&T Park
On Tuesday night, a group of us went to AT&T Park to watch the San Francisco Giants play host to the Toronto Blue Jays. The home team won the game 3-2. Read all about it.
No commentsWWDC Keynote
A 5am start and we still ended up halfway from the front! But it was all worth the wait – great keynote, a real buzz inside, with some neat audio-visual things happening on the big screens.

The Keynote (queueing) begins
I’m up and showered and ready to go join the queue for the Keynote presentation by Steve Jobs. But, first stop is breakfast at Mel’s Drive-in. More to come later in the day (blogging, not breakfast) …
No commentsCupertino – The Mothership
On Sunday 10th June, a group of us visited the Apple Company Store in Cupertino, California. It was a major geek-fest, with two carloads of us travelling the 40-odd miles (64km) down Highway 101 from San Francisco to Apple, Inc. Headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino.Without the organisation of Andrew Jeffrey from the Apple University Consortium we would have had to bus it down there. Thanks Andrew!

Walking San Francisco
A 7 hour walk of San Francisco in the scorching sun, and with nothing in my stomach except for a bran muffin, I took these photos (among many more):

Infinite Repeat
Television in the hotel is an infinite repeat of infomercials and telecommercials. From solutions for depression, bachelor’s degrees and Honda SUV’s to American Express cards and instant cash loans from seemingly trustworthy companies with “representatives standing by to take your call”.
That’s all on just one channel – the rest are all the same!
Infinite Repeat comes from the Queens of the Stone Age song ‘Millionaire’ where they “play the songs that sound more like everyone else… than anyone else, KLON radio Los Angeles”.
